EWN Is Closing Its Doors
June 2013!

After 31 years of helping hundreds of women start and grow their businesses, EWN is closing its doors.

Over the past few years, incredible changes have taken place in how we now do business.

  1. There has been a huge increase in in-person networking opportunities.
  2. Social media has changed the way we now market our businesses.

Because of these changes, EWN has experienced diminishing numbers of attendees at our monthly events. We also did not have enough volunteers stepping up to fill the board. The combination of those factors has led us to this unavoidable decision to close our doors.

We hope that you have benefitted from our programming and that you have fond memories of EWN’s events and our members. Please share your favorite EWN memory by posting them on our Facebook page.  We’d love to hear your thoughts.

We thank all those that gave so much of their hearts and time to EWN over the past 31 years. I thank the present board members for giving their absolute best to make a go of a very tough final year!

As Dr. Suess once said:

“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

To all of our wonderful entrepreneurial women, we wish you the best with your endeavors.
